August 13-17, 2018 Newsletter

Kindergarten Newsletter for

Week of Aug. 13- 17, 2019

Important Reminders:

* Sign the behavior calendar every day and return in the daily folder. This is one of our communication tools to help with discipline.

* Clean out work samples sent home unless it is marked to sign and return it.

* We will begin pressing our lunch/breakfast numbers in the morning. If you have not practiced with your child, please do so.

* T-shirt money- $12.00. We wear these shirts on all of our field trips, so we would like for everyone to purchase one. Deadline to order is Sept. 1st. Make checks payable to GES. Parents may order also.

* Forms- If we are missing any forms on your child we will send those home this week also. Please fill out ASAP and return in the daily folder to us.

* Behavior- For the most part things are going really well in Kindergarten- yeah!! However, we do have some children that are having trouble keeping their hands to themselves which is against school rules (to hit, pinch, etc.) We have told them all that if someone is bothering them to let the teacher know, before they hit and we will take care of it. Once they have hit before telling a teacher, then they are in trouble also. Please go over this at home also. We do not want any children hitting each other. Thanks for your help with this situation if your child is bringing home straight or sad faces and it says hitting, etc
