1989 Graduate of Troy State University with a B.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education.

I completed my teaching internship at Goshen Elementary School in 1989 in a first grade classroom  with Mrs. Earlie Mae Matthews.   I was fortunate to get my first teaching job at Shellhorn Elementary School which was less than 5 minutes from my home. I was hired to teach 2nd grade.  I loved it, but my dream was always to teach kindergarten.  After Shellhorn school closed , I did some substitute teaching and some maternity leaves at Goshen Elem. until a position became available for me.  I was then hired to teach kindergarten  at Goshen Elem.   It was and still is  a dream come true.  I have remained in kindergarten for the last 25 years and truly still love it.  I aim to develop a love for learning in all children that I teach, so that they will go on to be life long learners.

Hello, I am Teresa Rushing Register.  I have been teaching kindergarten for  almost 25 years.  I am married to Adam Register and we have four children, Hunter, Ethan, Carter and Bayli .  The three boys  have already graduated from Goshen High School and our daughter will graduate in 2019.
