Social Studies
This week we will learn all about 2nd Grade and ow he made so many different things from peanuts and sweet potatoes.
 
Science:
This week we will continue learning about matter and the different states that it may have. We will plant a sweet potato in soil and put one in water to see which will grow
first. We will also plant a sunflower seed to see if it will sprout as well. We will keep a
log of our findings in our science journals.

Important

  • Students may bring $1 every Friday to wear a hat through April or buy ice cream. This is in support of our Relay for Life Campaign to put a freeze on cancer. No other snacks will be sold on Friday.

  • Valentine’s Day is Tuesday, Feb. 14th. We will have cupcakes & juice. Students may exchange cards during recess.
