HEALTHY VENDING

Goshen Elementary will begin our Healthy Vending program Friday, September 26, 2014. These vending machines provide a reimbursable meal to a student that chooses not to get the hot meal. The vending machines are refrigerated and work almost like a regular machine.

The student will punch in their pin number, just like they do on the key pad at breakfast and lunch, only this time it will be on the vending machine.

The student will choose from “selection 1”, which will consist of the following:

·         Monday: Ham Hoagie/Lettuce & Tomato/Carrots & Ranch

·         Tuesday: Southwest Salad (Romaine, Chicken, Black Beans, Corn,     Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Salsa/Ranch)/Crackers

·         Wednesday: Turkey Sandwich/Lettuce & Tomato/Carrots & Ranch

·         Thursday: Southwest Salad/Crackers

·         Friday: Chicken Salad Flatbread/Lettuce & Tomato/Carrots & Ranch

Next, the student can choose either Chips or a Cookie.

Then, the student can choose a Fruit and Milk.

The student will punch in their pin number and this will pull from their account based on their eligibility.
