I started teaching in 1996 and have taught third grade every year except one. I am now Goshen Elementary's reading coach. I am actually teaching at the school that I went to as a child. I graduated from Goshen High School in 1990 and attended Troy State University and got my BS in early childhood in 1994. I then got my first teaching job in the fall of 1996, the same weekend I got engaged. I got married to Jim Kelly in 1996 and we have two daughters, Carmen and Camille, who also attended Goshen High School. I went back to graduate school and received my masters in early childhood. I love to read, sit out by the pool, and spend time with my family. I attend Hephzibah Baptist Church.
