I graduated from Troy University with a B.S. in Education K-6 Collaborative. I went on to obtain a masters degree in Elementatry Education while teaching preschool. 

While obtaining my masters degree I worked one year towards retirement at a preschool level teaching 4 year olds at Troy University's daycare. I taught one year in Shelby County in Birminigham AL.  then Montgomery for 11 years, and Elba for 3 years.  I have always taught special education and mostly K-3. 

 My name is Ginny Floyd. I am starting my 17th year teaching in special education. I recently got remarried to Brian Floyd and have two step children Hannah and Spencer as well as my own little boy Faulk. He attends GES with me. We live on a farm right near the school. We have chickens, goats and cats. I love children and always knew from a young age I wanted to be a teacher.
